The locals are warm, friendly, and some even speak English, which can make navigation easier for non-Croatian speakers. Police presence is steady and helpful, providing an added sense of safety.

Explore from pastas and risottos to meals prepared under a domed clay bell known as 'peka'. However, if you're searching for a wider variety of international cuisines, options may be limited.

Budget:Affordable

Pula is considerably budget-friendly for travelers. While not the cheapest destination, you can find affordable accommodation and reasonably priced meals. Many of the city's attractions, like the beautiful beaches, parks, and Roman ruins, are free or of minimal cost, making Pula an excellent place for budget-conscious solo female travelers.

Group travel experience

I was in Pula for 7 days and I fall in love. It was easy to get around with the city bus and the tickets were cheap. I would definitely recommend a beach called “Galebove stijene”. You would have to use taxi to get to the location because its a bit further away that the rest of the beaches, but it is so worth it. At night, we would usually hang out in this square park thing next to the sea and it was beautiful. If you are trying to be extra budget friendly, try out their bakeries. They are really good and cheap way to eat out.
