Beautiful beaches, the citadel is so beautiful as well. Very sunny and amazing city. The people there are super friendly and will randomly say hi to you on the street. Very safe even for a solo female traveller.
Posted: February 16, 2025Experienced: February, 2025I was in Pula for 7 days and I fall in love. It was easy to get around with the city bus and the tickets were cheap. I would definitely recommend a beach called “Galebove stijene”. You would have to use taxi to get to the location because its a bit further away that the rest of the beaches, but it is so worth it. At night, we would usually hang out in this square park thing next to the sea and it was beautiful. If you are trying to be extra budget friendly, try out their bakeries. They are really good and cheap way to eat out.
Posted: July 20, 2023Experienced: July, 2022So overall Pula is a great pleace to stay and feel safe Us locals know basically everyone that lives there so it is hard to feel unsafe So just dont be stupid and dont do dumb things and everyone should be having great time If you want to know more i highly suggest to go to the locals (cafe pleaces, stores...) and ask them anything more Real locals in Pula are mostly very kind and welcoming and ready to help with any direction needed

Pula is a small city that is bustling with people in the summer, but in winter, you experience the true reality of this place: peace and quiet without crowds or events. It's quite a safe city, so much so that you don't even need to lock your house. Of course, I always pay attention to where I’m going and at what time, but that’s just my nature. Better to be safe than sorry.
