There are plenty of walkable areas within the town itself, and for further distances, there are organised tours and public transit options to key sights like Maligne Lake, Pyramid Lake, and more. Some remote outdoor areas might not be as easily accessible without a car, but overall, it's not difficult to navigate.

I go camping in Jasper every year, it’s always tons of fun. To reduce expenses, I often camp outside Jasper, and then drive in for hikes and to go to the town. Maligne canyon is a must visit! Jasper pizza is super good. Be careful of gift shops, they can be really priced up for super cheap items.
