Transport:Easy

Navigating the Sunshine Coast is relatively straightforward as it is well-signed and much of it is along the coast. However, it's a large area so depending on where you're going, travel times can be lengthy. Public transport is available but for more remote areas, it might be less frequent. Car rentals are an option if you're comfortable driving. Pedestrian-friendly areas like Mooloolaba and Caloundra are easy to explore on foot.

Things to do:Interesting

Although it lacks the hustle and bustle of a big city, it’s sure to leave an indelible impression due to its astounding natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere.

Food:Above average

The food scene in Sunshine Coast is quite abundant with diverse cuisines from various parts of the world. You'll find scrumptious seafood, delightful vegan options, and plenty of fresh, farm-to-table dishes. Several cafes and outdoor eateries place a strong emphasis on organic, locally sources ingredients, making the freshness of their offerings a delight. What keeps this from a perfect score is the slight lack of diversity in flavors compared to major gastronomic cities globally, but overall, it's definitely a treat for foodies.

Budget:Moderate

Sunshine Coast in Australia offers a variety of experiences fitting different budgets. Family travel experience

I have been to the Sunshine coast more than once, albeit some years ago now, the 1st time with my brother, then the next 2 times it was with my Mum. I absolutely love it there on all levels. Have also been to the Gold Coast and love that too
