Safety:Very safe

Exmouth is generally a safe place for solo female travelers. The crime rate is low and locals are friendly and helpful. However, like all destinations, it is important to exercise normal precautions. Avoid isolated areas at night and keep an eye on your belongings. Always make sure someone knows where you are going if you plan to go on hiking or outdoor activities alone. Despite these safety measures, the overall risk is minimal and it's a beautiful travel destination.

Transport:Moderate

Exmouth's compact size makes it fairly straightforward to navigate. However, some of the most beautiful natural attractions, like the beach and Ningaloo Reef, aren't within walking distance. You'll need a private vehicle or be prepared to join a tour to explore these points of interest. Also, public transport options are very limited, leaving you largely dependent on foot or bicycle, if you can't drive.

Things to do:Interesting

Exmouth is a unique and highly interesting spot, especially for nature lovers. The town is surrounded by the Ningaloo Reef, the world's largest fringing reef, and visitors can snorkel right off the beach into an underwater wonderland of vibrant colored sea life. For those interested in marine life, it provides an unparalleled opportunity to swim with manta rays, and during certain seasons, whale sharks and humpbacks. For land adventures, head to Cape Range National Park for wonderful bush walks and views over the rugged limestone ranges. While it may not have a bustling metropolitan vibe, the natural beauty paired with adventure and relaxation opportunities make Exmouth a worthy destination.

Food:Above average

Exmouth offers a decent variety of foods, favoring seafood due to its coastal location. You may indulge in the locally-caught prawns and fresh fish or explore a range of different tastes from Asian inspired cuisine to hearty Aussie pub and barbeque delights. Not the widest choice compared to world famous food destinations, but the quality and freshness of the local produce is commendable.

Budget:Moderate

Exmouth is moderately budget-friendly. Accommodation is comparatively expensive, but there are affordable food options and many free natural attractions, such as the Cape Range National Park and Ningaloo Reef. However, the cost of tours and activities, along with transportation costs if you decide to rent a car, can significantly increase your budget.

The pictures don't show Exmouth, they show our entire route from Exmouth to Perth:) When you travel the West coast of Australia, make sure that you always have enough water! Buy a net or spray against the flies, put on sunscreen every day and don't visit to much destination on one day ;) If you have any questions about Japan, Indonesia or WA message me :)
