Termiz is generally safe for solo female travelers. It upholds traditional values while respecting foreign tourists. A few safety measures like avoiding to walk late at night and being vigilant about personal belongings should be taken into consideration for additional safety. However, a good grasp of either Russian or Uzbek language would be advantageous as English isn't commonly spoken.
