Windsor is a very safe community that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Staying out late, walking, hiking, or hanging out at the town green is never a problem and I’ve always felt safe and secure.

Windsor is generally a very quaint suburban town. More thefts occur in the part of town bordering the capital city, Hartford, but it lessens as you travel north and the town gets more rural. The worst that has happened to me is getting some packages stolen off my steps. I walk around town myself often and have never felt unsafe. Everyone minds their own business.
