Is Long Beach safe for solo female travelers?

Solo travel

It was terrible and wonderful. Poor and too wealthy. Sad and happy. I would recommend getting the most expensive hotel because every other place has roaches. I wouldn't spend much time out at night. Get used to hearing fireworks cuz they set them off all night long

How safe is Long Beach for women?

Mostly safe. Has nice parks and good restaurants. It’s a big city so there is much to do around the area. Lots of food trucks or tents. Definitely try out MVP Patio Grill for a good burger! Check out dtlb and the pier.

Everywhere in long beach is safe except near these locations since homeless. In downtown long beach it is safe when next to the beach, but still avoid at night. Anaheim street on the left side of cherry street (where I made a line of dots) is not safe & crime happens there. Also around that area. Best to avoid. Everywhere else is long beach is fine & safe as a women. Also For buses, 121(route has a nice view of ocean), 171, 91, are all good busses since students use it alot.
