Is Paisley safe for solo female travelers?

Paisley can be a strange place. In general I’ve never had any issues but the crime rate as a statistical fact is high. As long as you use common sense in keeping your valuebles close to you and not wandering down dark alleys alone at night, you should be totally fine. For the most part Scottish people in general are very friendly and happy to help if you need directions for example. You’d eassily make friends and will even find local groups to do so through social media.

Paisley is very safe even in the middle of the night as young solo woman. It's a small town near Glasgow and local people are very nice and make you feel like home. Even the trains to go to / come back from Glasgow very early or very late is safe.
