Carlisle is generally very safe - like any city it can have its issues, but overall I feel safe even as a woman alone at night ! Botchergate is the main area for going out, and because of that it can get a bit rowdy on a Saturday night but still in general I always feel safe even!

I consider my home city of Carlisle to be safe. Although it would appear that the crime rate is higher than the National average for the North West UK this maybe localised to specific groups I have never felt unsafe in thd town centre

About Me

Hi! I’m a solo traveller - currently heading to the Philippines! But when (if ever) I am at home it’s in Cumbria in the Lake District in my parents house! We have lots of space and would happily host!

About Me

Hi, I'm a single lady looking for new friends to do things with. I'm about to move house and would like to start a new hobby or literally just get out more with like-minded people. I have 2 sons, now grown and flown the nest, and I work full time so won't be able to join in anything Monday to Friday during the day.
