Brighton and Hove is pretty safe. You get occasional comments but anything more than that is pretty rare in most areas.

I have had very few experiences whilst living in Brighton and Hove where I have felt unsafe. Generally public transport always feels very safe and I have been completely fine on many nights out with friends.

I have lived here for 2 years and have not had any issues or incidents. No matter the place, I always have a worry in the back of my head, but all things considered Brighton is safe and full of lovely queer liberals who are friendly and accepting 🤍
