For the time I have lived here, I haven't experienced any unsafe situations. The crime rate in my local area is lower than Sheffield city centre. It's a residential area with a school nearby, and the neighbourhood is friendly.

Very safe to catch public transport, walk around on a night time and no real threat of anything. Of course there’s low level crime like anywhere but it’s not something you see every day or on the streets
