I would rate it as a nice and safe place. I live here since I was 19 and never experienced something weird. The atmosphere is nice, people are very friendly 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻. I recommend to visits this city.

It feels safe, quite and comfortable. You can walk at night and order taxi. I never herd about any crimes from my friends who is leaving here. But now is a war time and even if Lviv is far from front line it still can be dangerous.

Lviv is quite safe for a girl travelling alone (talking from experience, because I wasn’t born here, so at times I was travelling here on my own). Unfortunately, today it is not 100% safe because of the war, even though it’s safer than many Ukrainian cities.

I would say Lviv is safe overall. You can walk alone at night, but still, as anywhere in the world, it’s better to be careful than not. Even regarding war, it is safer in Lviv, than anywhere else in Ukraine, though there’s always a risk of missile or drone attack.
