How safe is Zaragoza?

Safety at night:

Safety at night:Safe

Zaragoza is generally safe at night, but like any city, it has spots where it is advisable to be cautious. Overall, the city is well-lit, busy, and populated until late hours due to the Spanish culture of late dinners and nightlife. However, it's always prudent to be aware of your surroundings and avoid deserted areas. Emergency services are also efficient and responsive.

Public transport in Zaragoza is generally quite safe for solo female travelers. Buses and trams are regularly patrolled and monitored, so instances of crime are relatively low. It's also worth mentioning that Zaragoza is a well-lit city with a good number of people around at all times, which adds to the overall sense of safety. However, like anywhere, it's important to stay vigilant, especially during nighttime or when the system isn't at its busiest.
Street harassment:

Zaragoza, generally boasts a safe and welcoming environment for solo female travelers. Instances of street harassment are relatively low in comparison to some other cities. As in any city, it’s always sensible to stay aware of your surroundings and make cautious choices, but overall the likelihood of encountering significant street harassment in Zaragoza is not typically high.
Petty crimes:

Petty crimes:Low

Zaragoza, much like the rest of Spain, is generally safe for travelers. Petty crimes such as pickpocketing or purse-snatching can happen, especially in crowded tourist areas or on public transportation, but are not as prevalent compared to other tourist-heavy cities. However, it's still advised to stay vigilant, keep your belongings secured, and avoid poorly lit and deserted places at night.

Is Zaragoza worth visiting?

Solo travel

It is easy to reach all the interesting places by foot. The historical center is really beautiful at night. I recommend the IAACC museum, because it has free entrance plus it has a terrace with good views (that only opens Friday to Saturday I believe).

Very safe, i have never feel scared, even walking alone at night. In zaragoza everybody is vrtyopen and kind and willing to help each other if you ask them. I think is a very good city to travel to on a solo female trip
