Couple travel

The city is pretty safe. There are a lot of dancing events on the island, as well as surfing and co-working. We were there while working remotely and our experience was great. It is easy to move around with the local tram application, and the bus gets you pretty much everywhere

Group travel

The trip was super nice and the weather was amazing. I was with a group of friends and it was super safe. The food was delicious and there is nice activity to do or also nice to relax next to the beach with good sun in winter

Solo travel

My first solo trip was to Tenerife. I wanted to organize a vacation in a hostel, but my anxiety reached its peak. So I decided on 5 nights in a hotel. I planned one trip in advance and the rest of the time that I spent there, I wandered on my own. I am very glad I did, I absolutely loved it.

Solo travel

I was there alone and I was fine with it. There are wonderful pop-up restaurants, and wine is cheaper than soda. Lots of interesting history and beaches with black volcanic sand.

Is Santa Cruz de Tenerife safe for women?

I think is safe enough. As in everywhere else, you have to be careful where you go as there’s more dangerous and there’s safer places. You might get yelled at by the homeless locals, or you may get catcalled by men, but thats all. You have to be very unlucky to get robed or attacked. Even less probably murdered or kidnapped. I think the most touristic areas of the south can be dangerous if you go by yourself, but they can be okay if you go with a friend, even if you’re all girls.
