Salamanca is always illuminated, there is not one dark corner. The city in general doesn’t have many tiny hidden streets so you can easily walk around on streets that you can overlook. There are always people ok the streets, so even if you feeling insecure, there will be always people

Salamanca its a very safe city, with a lot of students ( beside july and agust //holidays). In the summer the city is a little bit empty so you can enjoy a nice walk at night. I always walk at night alone even at 2am
