Never felt unsafe walking during the day! I don’t go out much after dark, but early morning it’s still very safe even if it’s dark. There may be some drunk people, but they won’t hurt you. Salamanca is a smaller city and everyone mostly keeps to themselves, or are tourists.

Salamanca its a very safe city, with a lot of students ( beside july and agust //holidays). In the summer the city is a little bit empty so you can enjoy a nice walk at night. I always walk at night alone even at 2am
