How safe is Almeria for solo female travelers?

Group travel

I reall loved it. The water us cold tho and when it's windy dont get in the water haha. When I was there it was really hot and then one day it was randomly really cold so take warmer clothes with you. There were no creeps it was pretty safe. There are men on the beach who make things out of sand. Don't look at them directly or they will want you to pay to look. On the beach men also sell a lot of things and want you to pay so be safe. There ks a cute boba shop next to the beach and it's really...

Solo travel

I spent a month at the coast of Copacabana which is relatively close to the city centre of Almeria but pretty calm and surrounded by little houses and couple of restaurants. If you have a car I definitely recommend going to el Cabo de gata playas and natural park. All along the coast there are a lot of little cities with typical architecture and also lot of expats. You can eat local and have many pleasant encounters. I recommend at least basic command in Spanish ;)

Its a safe country and city where u can travel without concerns 🙏 With good connections between nearby cities and neighborhoods. Besides, u can rest assured that you will find help if you need it; the people are kind, very open, and willing to teach you.

Almería is a city where I feel very observed, but at the same time, having lived here for so many years, I feel safe. Depending on the area, you have to be more or less careful. At night it's not advisable to go alone.

It is quite a safe and calm city, I haven't been living here for long, but I have felt safe at all times. I've walked alone at dawn and everything is very calm, I've never felt unsafe or harassed.

About me

About Me 👩🏻‍💻 I'm a girl who laughs a lot and loves discovering the world. I really believe that happiness doesn’t need much — less is more. I learned that while traveling, meeting people who own little but enjoy life a lot. I always travel light, no matter where or how long 🎒 What I Love 💫 I love nature (especially hiking 🥾), sports 💪, and good food 🍽 I’m an aerial artist and tehrefore I climb, spin, or do tricks on things that usually don’t look like something to dance on 🤪 I read books, even if I’m one of the few still doing that 📚 Dancing only happens when the music is good — and yes, I’m a terrible dancer, but I absolutely enjoy it! 💃 My Travel Style 🧭 For me, traveling is mostly about people. I think places are people. We only enjoy a place if we meet the right ones there. I’ve found friends during travels that I’m still connected with after years 🥰 I prefer hostels, campsites, or surfing couches whenever possible — it's a different way of traveling! Why I Couchsurf 🗺 To learn about people and their stories, break down prejudices, improve languages and make real connections. That’s what travel means to me — being open, curious, and kind ✨
