Is Stavropol safe for solo female travelers?

Stavropol is a relatively safe place for solo female travelers. However, like many places, it is always important to take precautions. Crime rates are comparatively low and serious crimes against tourists are quite rare, but petty crime like pickpocketing does occur, especially in crowded areas. It is recommended to avoid walking alone late at night in less populated areas and follow local customs to respect the culture. It's advisable to learn some basic Russian phrases, as English is not widely spoken. Public transport is generally safe and reliable, but taxis should be called from a trusted company, rather than hailed on the street.

The city is rather boring. Measured. But at least you feel safe. Compared to my city, Stavropol has few entertainment options and few places to eat. But! I can single out the Mexican restaurant at the Bazaar. It's delicious! (last photo). Don't go to Chico - it's expensive, cold and tasteless (first photo with food). Of interest, you can go to botanical garden to feed the squirrels or go to the park and ride the Ferris wheel.

How safe is Stavropol for women?

Stavropol is a pretty safe city especially at the day, just don’t communicate with odd looking persons. At night you should be more careful in areas like Park Pobedy, Perspektivniy. But in general the crime and robbery rate is low
