Generally safe, but honestly — there have been drone incidents recently, including one that hit a courthouse in the city, and drones rarely fly over the suburbs. It's not a war zone, but it's not completely quiet either. But most locals go about their day as usual.
Posted: July 14, 2026It depends 🫢 In tourist central areas during the day there is no problem to walk alone. However, at night I do not advise to walk alone anywhere. But as in any large city, there is public transport and cheaper taxi, so you can get home safely.

I’m rather friendly, love both being in nature and wandering around the city discovering things. I work as an English teacher, play the guitar (just a little bit) and love watching TV-shows (Fleabag is my all-time favourite!)
