My first solo trip was to Portugal, exploring the Algarve region up to Lisbon. I’d say the Algarve (especially Lagos) is a perfect destination for solo female travellers. Solo travel

I visited Porto, Lisbon, Sesimbra and the Algarve. Not enough time. So safe as solo traveler. Easy to drive. Kindest people ever. I loved it. I want yo go again. I stayed at Marriotts to earn or redeem. The W Algarve was my favorite Marriott ever.
