I have never felt unsafe in Voss. It's a quiet town, small but with everything you may need. There's not much nightlife, but you can find some events. There's always someone at the bars or at the lake. The only safety problem that I can think of is drunk people you may find, especially on national holidays.
Posted: March 9, 2026its perfect little town surrounded by mountains, looks like a picture from fairytale especially in winter. there is a lot of cute stores where you can buy souvenirs as a tourist, couple of restaurants - italian, sushi, chinese.

About me
Hi! I primarily signed up as a host, to give woman a free and safe place to stay in Vinje Voss. I have done alot of travelling and i wish this was a thing when i was young and travelling. I am 40 y - 2 kids, 11 and 16, super safe non toxic husband. We have two dogs, chickens and goats. All who live here are friendly, but the boys are a bit shy. I primarily host for tent, and campervan or mobile home. But have a double bed in my own campervan. I expect nothing from my guest besides common sense. You have access to water and electricity.
