As a solo traveller and a student, my budget was really low but fortunately I got a host , she was wonderful and she made me feel at home. I explored Oslo and the next day I went to Hamar. It was beautiful. I was so lucky to see Northern lights too🌸✨

I am a very outdoorsy person, and we weren't there for very long, so that was my priority. I did so much hiking that while challenging provided some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen in my life. I also did a Fjords cruise and couldn't recommend that more as it also provided gorgeous views and an amazing experience.

I enjoyed the culture and the people, I felt safe during day and night times. I would recommend to stay at least 2 days to enjoy the city and the night life. I loved so much the fine art museum, and the beautiful streets. Norwegian are very friendly and welcoming.

A quick weekend trip. Lovely city! Very clean, with very nice wooden architecture. Very friendly people. I stayed in a private room from Airbnb. In a center, not too expensive. Lovely host! The city itself is easy to walkaround, not many spectacular atractions. But the atmosphere of the city, it's vibe is what is the most valuable. There are many beautiful hiking trails around the city. Not dificult, among trees and stones with amazing views

I feel incredibly safe in Norway. There’s something so peaceful and grounding about being here — the calm streets, the respect people have for each other, and the strong sense of community. Even when I walk alone at night, I feel completely at ease. The balance between nature and modern life gives me a deep sense of security and belonging. It’s like the whole country moves with a gentle rhythm that makes me trust life even more.

Trysil is a very small rural village so everyone knows everyone so it is very safe. In the winter many tourists come to go skiing and partying but it is still a very controlled environment so there is nothing to worry about.

Oslo is a very safe and walkable city. people are friendly, public transport works well, and it feels comfortable to move around even at night. Though like most places, the central station area can feel a bit rough at night.

I find Bergen to be very safe. As a 20-year-old woman, I’ve often walked home alone at night in the city center and felt comfortable. Bergen is full of students, and the student life makes the city lively, especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Norwegians can be a bit reserved, but I’ve never experienced theft or anything similar here. Of course, it’s always smart to keep an eye on your belongings, but overall I feel very safe and comfortable living in Bergen.

I’m privileged to live in a overall safe country, and Bergen is as safe to say the least! It’s considered a big city, but doesn’t feel like it. People are nice and friendly, and Norwegians are a bit more reserved so things usually go smoothly
