Tønsberg is overall a safe city with good people. In the day i have never experienced anything uncomfortable. But one should be careful around the graveyard close to the train station, there are signs at the entrance warning about syringes.

In my opinion it’s very safe city but as every place with many people it can have various situations happening what makes me sometimes worried about my safety. However overall I think it’s very safe city with a lot of positive sides.

Its a small norwegian town, its very safe, in the city sentrum theres a few drugaddicts on specific areas near the bus station but they are harmless. The streets are generally very safe at night aswell.
