The city is extremely safe, no catcalling or other harrasment happening, one of the places I felt the safest, but it very expensive and the city itself is not that big, so the amount of activities is limited.

Narvik is a very safe city, many locals dont even lock their homes and cars, one of the safest cities I have ever been to. The crime rate is super low and as it gets really cold in the winter, there are no homeless people.
Posted: September 7, 2025Well, it's Norway. One of the safest countries in the world. There's 99.9% chance nothing dangerous will happen to you. I've walked alone in the middle of the night more times than I can count and was never bothered.
