Safety at night:Safe
Senja is generally safe to walk around at night, even as a solo female traveler. The crime rates are very low, especially violent crime, and the locals are often friendly and helpful. There might be lower visibility during the winter months due to the Polar Nights but tourists are seldom reported to have running into any issues. However, like with any place, it's always important to stay aware of your surroundings, stick to well-lit and populated areas when possible, and follow general travel precautions.
