Nyiregyhaza is a small and peaceful city located in the Eastern part of Hungary. The local people are friendly and generally helpful. The city is well-lit during the night and most landmarks and accommodations are relatively safe. However, it's recommended to take normal precautions such as avoid walking alone late at night in deserted areas.
