A gem 2h away from Athens. If you are traveling to Athens I definitely suggest you to get out of town for a day (or even an overnight) in Nafplio. It’s small and that is the beauty of it. It has lots of importance on the history of Greece since it was one of the capitals of Greece back in the days. It has a beautiful fort on the top of the mountain that you can visit and gives the charm of the city at night. Take a bike ride or a hike towards the big beach as well. Experience the city at night and in the morning. Epidaurus theatre is very close by not to mention other archaeological sites. Enjoy this pretty little town 💙
