Is Risoul safe for solo female travelers?

Risoul, largely known for its skiing resorts, is a fairly safe destination for solo female travelers. Local people are quite friendly and helpful. It's important, however, to practice standard precautions, particularly at night or when using public transportation. Also, always make sure to remain vigilant in crowded tourist spots as pickpocketing could still happen. Nevertheless, Risoul has reliable police presence and generally, crime rates are low.
