I've visited Orléans a lot of time, and it's really a pretty and lovely city 🌼 There are some interesting points to see as the cathedral or the town hall, but my favorite thing is just walking on the street, or near the river and enjoy the view, vibe and the architecture 🔆🏞 During the night there are lot of bars 🍸 and also some clubs but that's all, not that much things. In Orléans, you often get stares on the bus or in the streets but a few people actually talk to you. I never had something stolen directly from my bag or my house but avoid leaving personnal things without watching (especially at tables or at bus stops).
Posted: September 2, 2025Orléans is a pretty much safe place to travel to. I have never experienced any problem in my city related to safety. The only thing I wouldn’t do is walk alone at night. I always find ways to walk with someone or go home with a car.
Posted: August 19, 2025Orleans is relatively safe for women. Just like any big city, you have to be careful at night, but other than that nothing ever happened to me. Try to avoid Place de Gaulle and the Bus station at Place D'Arc under the shopping mall 👍
