Is Montreuil Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

It is quite safe. But I wouldn ́ t go in the woods during the night. It’s not necessarily dangerous but I’ve heard stories about women getting assaulted. During the day it is safe. You should be fine !

Most of the town is very safe despite the men that sometimes give you « compliments ». I’m not afraid to take the public transport nor walking alone in this town. I’m not worried that I’ll be robbed. Depending on the neighbourhood you can be surrounded by wealthy or poor families. But not much crime is happening.
