Is Luz-Saint-Sauveur Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

The Pyrenees has been one of my favorite places I’ve travelled to since I was a little girl. I travelled solo and stayed and worked at a family friends hotel in Luz Saint Saveur in 2024 for three months. There was plenty opportunity for beautiful hikes relaxation in nature and everyone smiles at you in the village and is so friendly. People keep their doors unlocked here. I have felt safe walking around at night time alone. Everyone has a smile and there is a great sense of community here which gives a sense of safety! There are plenty of English and Spanish speakers here so communication is easy most of the time and they also have medical services and police nearby but overall only a case of road rage I’ve seen once and that was because the roads here are very narrow and quite dangerous for cars
