Le Mans is not like Paris or Nantes for example, it is more safe. However: Men sometimes whistle at me, alcoholic or drug-addicted men come up to me from time to time when I'm waiting for the bus in the evening, and once a man followed me down the street at night. But I've always got away with it by walking away, ignoring their remarks, or by getting closer to groups of people. In the middle of the day, even on my own, I'm fine. I often go for walks by the water or in the old town, and I haven't had any problems there. When I go out on the town in the evening with my friends, everything goes well because I don't stay alone.

Hello, I'm Romane and I am a student. I learn English, German and Korean (and French is my mother tongue). I love to travel and discover other cultures, way of life and people☀️ I like to dance, listen music (very different styles), read books, watch movies, take pictures but also videos of my travel, and spend time with my friends. I am going to Germany for an Erasmus and I want to visit Denmark :)
