Is Fontainebleau safe for women?

Fontainebleau is safe for women, even at night, as it is a place for families. The city center is full of bars, and restaurants, there is always someone not to far, ready to help. People here are pretty welcoming and helpful, much more relaxed than Parisians. Many do speak English and are happy to give tips and advice. Men usually behave and public transport are easy to navigate and safe. I allow my 15 year old daughter to use it and go to the city, even at night, she never had any problems. Still, I would avoid going to the forest, or to any dark and isolated place alone at night. But I’d would do it anywhere.

Fontainebleau is a pretty town. I honestly always felt safe there but as it’s a town with a lot of money sometimes there’s small crimes such as robbing but I’ve never been attacked or one of my friends.
