Solo travel

Overall, I feel safe walking in brest event during late hours. It’s a beautiful and quiet city with cool places to explore. Although the prices here are somewhat expensive compared to other European countries, they’re still reasonable. The restaurant here are diverse and you can find anything you like here.

Is Brest safe for women?

The city is fairly calm, maybe except for the summertime when the students hold a lot of parties in the city center and in the harbour. There have been few cases about assaults, however they're singular cases. I live here for 3 years now and the worst thing happening to me was getting my phone stolen. I'm quite cautious person and don't go out often by the nighttime but if I had to be outside by the nighttime, I didn't encounter any problems and didn't feel unsafe
