Is Bayonne Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

I went to Bayonne France, and I really liked it. It’s a small and peaceful city, so you can easily explore the city center in one day. There are some beautiful churches, and there are nice places in the center where you can sit and have a meal. It wasn’t very crowded, which I really liked. The city felt safe and clean, and I think it’s a great place to travel solo as well. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.

I have never felt in danger since I moved and I love how good I feel in this city. I often walk across this city by night (4times/week) and I can say that the area below the Adour is very safe and you won't have to worry

Bayonne is a small city and it’s safe. The historical center is only pedestrian, and the city has many bus to travel around. Close to us you have Spain, the beach (famous for surfing). The athmosphere is very chill. It has a strong identity and culture, that we find in food, party and activity. People are friendly
