Lahti is pretty safe both during night and daytime. It’s a small city close to Helsinki. Overall Finland is a safe country for women and solo travelers. I’ve never felt unsafe anywhere

Lahti and Finalnd overall was incredibly safe. I like to take walks at night and I was not at all worried. But on Friday and Saturday evening sometimes some weird people are around, but they're easy to avoid and not dangerous. The only thing that you should take care of is your bike. It is common that if something gets stolen it will be a bike xD

Lahti is actually known as one of the unsafest cities in Finland. But living here for 6 months and i hadn’t got any bad situation on my mind. People here are rather quite and home lovers so there is a really low chance to meet someone in the streets☺️
