Admittedly I have only lived here for a bit (and am also a white woman) and visited before I moved here but everyone I have met have been so lovely and kind. I do however get some older folk say some weird stuff with racist undertones thinking I'll just agree with them for some reason. I try avoid those people. But other than that it's very safe
