Sintra is an absolutely magical place surrounded by mountains and full of beautiful historical and architectural treasures. It is very safe and compact and it is well-connected to Lisbon and other parts of Portugal by railway.

I loved Sintra. I spent there 2 nights. I started from Quinta, then went to Pena, and then to Moorish. I spent the most time in Quinta - it was beautiful and it wasn't crowded when I was there.
