About Me

Hi, I'm Rita and I'm a 20 years old biology student. I'm a scout (rover) in Portugal. All my life my parents did the max they could to show me the Mediterranean so now I have a soft spot for Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Pompei, Madrid, etc. I speak fluent english, spanish, and I'm learning italian but it's a slow learning because of my biology degree. When I get a job, I'm thinking of staying here in Portugal, but on holidays traveling everywhere. I wanna go back to Spain, Italy and I wanna discover Japan because (it's a funny story with college friends) when I was a freshwoman, an older friend told me I was a lot like Osamu Dazai so now I wanna go see his tomb and getting to know more about how he lived. Anyways, I love traveling and I can't wait to start making new friends :) P.S.: if you have a soft spot for fantasy books written by women, we're gonna get along really well :)

About Me

Hello there. I'm Catarina and I have been living in Aveiro for 11 years now. I'm a dreamer by heart. I loveeee nature, arts and crafts. I believe we can always find our away back to our true nature if we trust that every experience can be a new chapter into our journey to expand our soul. Aveiro is a magical place to visit and embrace the simplicity of a good walk or a bike ride through the city. 🚲🌍✨️ P.S. If you like arts and crafts you can find me here @katharos_project πŸ’«βœ‚οΈπŸ’Œ

Solo travel

This is one of the most greenest city I've ever seen. The culture and people are really nice and the city is quite safe to travel. Hotels and houses to rent are a bot expensive but food are acceptable. Beaches here are really good especially for friends groups and parties and of course for swimming. In summer is really warm tho..

Group travel

I went to Aveiro with four friends, we were 5 in total. I could easily say it was one of the nicest places Ive ever seen. People are really friendly, they love to talk to people and their conversations are fun. You can make friends, anytime/anywhere in Aveiro. They make great cocktails and the cocktails are budget friendly! There are less options of vegetarian food compared to other european countries but of course its not impossible. During my 10 days in Aveiro, there was not a night I went back to my hostel before 2am and the city has never felt dangerous to me. We stayed in Pousadas de Juventude, the rooms were kind of small but since we did not pay big attention to where we were staying, it was all fine for us, it was around 15mins by walking to the city.
