About me

Hey everyone ✨ My name is Melodi but you can call me Mel. I am originally from Germany, but I moved to England in 2022 for my bachelor's degree. That's why I usually switch between countries. During term time, I live in England, and during the vacation period, I am back home in Germany 😄 I am very extroverted and pretty much down for whatever. I’ve traveled to over 20 countries so far, and I like to think of myself as a traveler, not a tourist. This summer, I am planning to travel to the Balkans (specifically Bosnia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia). I’d love to find a travel buddy, so if anyone’s interested in joining me, just hit me up! Let’s travel the world together and make some good memories ✈️🤩 Also, I live in Frankfurt, Germany. If anyone needs a place to stay, I would love to host you.

Family travel

I travelled to frankfurt for 3 days for a concert and met up with 4 of my friends from germany there! it felt safe having people who speak the language with me, and we enjoyed nice food at a korean restaurant and overall walked around most of the time! I stayed at a hostel with my uncle since I was a minor at that time, and the transport was very easy with germany’s public transportation!

Family travel

It was really fun. Though of course was visiting family there so they knew where to take me/what to show me. I was a kid at the time, and didn’t have to pay for anytning food wise thankfully. I remember being given 100 euro for a souvenir, and my cousins took me to a mall for shopping. Just a plain white hoodie with three bananas on it was 88 euros 😅 It’s been years since then, but that’s the thing I remember the most aside from the sky and strawberry picking I did with them.
