About me
I’m retired and my main objective post retirement is to travel the world. For 45 years my husband has been my travel partner but he passed away unexpectedly in March, 2023. So I’m interested in meeting other women who share my passion for travel. My husband and I visited all 50 states, several of the Caribbean islands, Mexico and Canada. In the past year,‘I have traveled to Italy (twice), Greece, Turkey, and to Alaska for the 2nd time (cruise). I have one son and 2 grandsons; one who is 18 and one 3 yo. Love my boys.

My name is Ellen Tacher, and at the ripe old age of 59. I caught the travel bug. I have a lot of world travel to catch up. My July was my first time to Europe. I have two children who are independent in their late 20s and and the founder and CEO of Prime Sunshine the first woman on CBD brand in the United States, I’ve been seeing patients and helping people feel better for about 10 years which is really my passion. I work remotely for a U.S.-based tech company with global offices, which gives me the flexibility to travel and live intentionally wherever I go. Is Charlotte safe for women?
It’s helpful to know which areas of Charlotte are safest so please research before visiting. Some areas are very safe in the daytime but opportunistic crime happens late at night. Charlotte is a fun city, lots of new people moving for jobs, but not so tourist focused.
