About me

Hello everyone ☺️ My name is Brooke and I’m currently on a 4+ month backpacking trip through Europe with my friend Shelby! We love nature, exploring new cities, learning about other cultures, and grabbing a drink with friends! We are budget travelers like most people these days and would love to connect with other free spirited women who can share a little about themselves and city ❤️

About me

Hi! I’m Grace. I’m new to solo traveling, but I’m excited to propel my experiences with this app! I’m currently in grad school for couples and family therapy, and I’m also a swim instructor for kids. I also run my own second-hand clothing Depop account! I’m from Central Valley California, but I moved up to Washington about 5 years ago and loved it ever since! I’ve never traveled outside of the country before, but I want to gain confidence to do so by solo exploring cities within the U.S.

About me

👋 My name is Heleena. I am interested in getting to know other women for small group travel or meeting up in your country for some local sightseeing. I am happy to do the same if you would like to travel the USA as well. I am interested in traveling through Europe at present but I am open to visiting other places if our schedules allow. Age/race/ orientation does not matter to me although we may have more in common if we are in a similar season in life.

Is Seattle safe for women?

Honestly, the whole country is a mess right now. Seattle is a sanctuary city, but like any large city there is crime and a homeless population. What I’ve learned - you can’t live in fear. Of course, be aware of your surroundings, but don’t let it stop you from visiting this beautiful part of the country. Summers are incredible and the rain really isn’t bad. If walking around downtown at night, I recommend having someone with you (or at least walking around populated places)

I have always found it to be a safe city overall - but comfort level certainly depends on where you are. Downtown, amd the surrounding areas I usually feel the least comfortable in. Most of the other neighborhoods such as Ballard, Fremont, Green Lake, and Columbia City, etc, I’ve always felt comfortable. Even Capitol Hill isn’t too bad! Of course everyone has their own experience, but this is mine.
