Is Taipei Safe for Women? Crime Rate in Taipei

It’s a place where you can always find help, the people and the police are more than welcome to help you! And I can proudly say that as a female you don’t really need to be worried walking around alone

Taipei City is a small but kindly place. People here are very friendly and even at the night the city still safe. Also the transportation is also convenient and is really safe. At night you can still buy lots of things in the night market or the convenient store. Furthermore, if you meet something dangerous, just go ahead to the convenience store to seek any help. Overall, Taipei is really convenient and safe!

Taipei is the capital city of Taiwan, the city is surrounded by mountains, for me it's the real urban jungle! You can enjoy both modernization and nature at the same time! Although Taiwan is a tiny country, but we have soooo much mountains and some of them are really difficult to hike, if you like ocean and mountain, you definitely should come to Taiwan!

Taipei is very safe place to travel for women !! 100% You can walk on street at 2:00am stil feel you are safe. And people always put their laptop on cafe when they go to washroom. So welcome to travel to Taiwan !!

I used to wander around the city and the riverbank both Taipei and New Taipei City all night til dawn my whole teenage years. Nothing bad ever happens! It’s also easy to reach help because there are many 24 hours stores around, mostly every street ~

Taipei has low crime rate, efficient public safety measures, safe public transportation, high standards of public hygiene and health, disaster prevention, technological integration, and friendly and helpful locals.

Taipei is a convenient city that travelers could enjoy wandering around by various public transportation. Subway and bus always on time and there are information with high availability. Residents here are mostly friendly and willing to help, though some people are still not so familiar with English. We have a rental bike system called “U-bike”, which is the top choice I recommend people to travel around Taipei!

People are super friendly and willing to help. Have been living there for few years and nothing bad happened on me. Even if something really happens, it’s very easy to seek for help in any store near by or to find a police.

The safty place,people are kind😊 You can do anything you want whenever you want! Also don’t worried about you will hungry in midnight,because we have convenient store everywhere and the famous culuture-night market. Our food delivery is very common.

Walking around in the midnight in Taipei is very safe as the night is still young and you can still catch the midnight train back home safely. Most people offer hospitality toward foreigners. Do not be afraid to ask directions, most people in Taiwan would love to help.

Solo travel experience

It is safe and lively, it has well organized and highly developed public transportations and infrastructure. People are friendly, so many fun activities can do. Food are tasty, weather is nice during the spring.

Group travel experience

I was in Taipei for 3 days. The weather was a bit gloomy during Chinese New Year. We move around with MRT, bus and local train. The service is top notch. On time, cheap and clean. Food is average for me. It's People are polite and helpful if you try to communicate effectively. Taipei is the most safest city especially for solo female traveller. You can walk the street without so much worries. Accept the scooters. They are a bit reckless. I went with a group but will do it solo next time.

Family travel experience
