Taipei and New Taipei City are both very safe for women! 🩷🫶🏻 (and for men) I’ve been living here my whole life and I could walk alone at 3am in the morning, knowing I’m gonna be safe without looking back. The streetlights are always on maybe this is one of the reason why I feel safe. Even though city people are busy and hustling people are kind if you have any questions.

Very safe city, a lot of safe and easy to use public transportation. I often go out at night from 9 to midnight by myself and although the path I use has no people in it at the time, I feel safe. No city or area exempt of sexual predators or others, always be careful and aware of your surroundings despite being at a safe area.

It’s a very safe city : ). You can around around the city by public transportation safety. There are many 24 hours convenient stores open almost everywhere that if you have any questions or safety issues, you may just enter for help 😊

You can walk on the streets in midnight. There are a lots convenient stores opening 24/7. It's easy to find something to eat and people. It's also open to dress with any styles. Although people might stare but that's it.
Posted: May 15, 2024Apart from some "quiet" harassment or stealing, generally safe. Most people are simple. Just need to be careful of the traffic, there are many accidents. (It's crowded in the centre, many motorcycles and cars on the roads.)
