I think Trondheim is generally very safe. I remember feeling unsafe once or twice, but it was in a nightclub a while ago. I imagine it's because it's an environment where different types of people can frequent, and alcohol is involved. Besides that, in everyday life, there's no reason to feel in danger. Although you may occasionally see some strange people (mostly addicts or those with a similar problem).

Trondheim is as i have experienced a safe place were things rarly happen. The only thing k would worn about it is everyday racism as in Norway in general. As for the location i live in, it is very safe to go out at night and have never experienced stealing or anything like that. Very calm family neighborhood.

Trondheim is the safest city I’ve ever lived in. I’ve been here for almost 5 months and I’ve never worried about my safety. Norway in general is a very safe country and you will hopefully feel quite safe while you’re here

Trondheim is quite a welcoming city. I go to school there and have stayed both early and late and have never experienced anything very scary. Like there’s been upset people from one time to another but the police is quite fast to calm them down if it was to happen.

Actually, it's the safest city I ever had chance to live in. People are very polite, usually no one talk to you without necessary. You can be calm walking alone at night and also you can trust the police here ✨

One of the safest places for women. Very low crime rates and very accessible public transport. Only problem would be the weather, which can be difficult during winter, if we plan a hike. But, other than that, City is very beautiful and safe.

I have been living in Trondheim since 4 months. I came here for 6 months as an exchange student from Nepal. I like the summer here. It is all over green and sunny most of the hour in a day. The nature here is very nice, you can enjoy the lake, forest, river, and the city.
Posted: May 23, 2024Experienced: December, 2023Trondheim will always be my second home, but even if i wasn't biased i would still recommend this lovely place! The cozy yet lively town provides you with both a nice stroll through beautiful streets with houses coloured in all the rainbows colors. But if you want the night life, there is certainly no problem with that either! Trondheim is beautiful, scenery, food, hikes.. Just lovely!
