Udupi is one of the safest places I've ever lived in. I've been there for 5 years now and fortunately yet to experience any form of assault. It has the sweetest people. Language isn't a problem at all also because majority of the natives can speak English and Hindi along with the local language. It has some of the most beautiful places to visit too. Overall it's very safe if you're a woman travelling alone or with others.
Posted: January 1, 2025Udupi is a small coastal town, well known for its temples. It has a lot of old and beautiful temples, beaches, and great food. People are nice and kind, and will help out. Accomodation is fairly cheap, though it might be more if looking for cottages along the beaches.

Hi, I'm Nandini π. I've grown up going on annual vacations to some of the prettiest places. But now I feel like traveling once a year is not my dream. I want to explore more often and this is me taking a step forward in the direction I want my life to be going π.
