It’s a bit safer, you can travel alone either in public transport, or private one during the day safely, I’ve never experienced anything bad during night cuz I don’t go out at night mostly. It’s not too bad at night but be safe and aware always

Coimbatore is a very safe city with very welcoming and loving people. It’s safe at night as well. I have never experienced any thing unsafe happening to me here even at night. There is nothing much to worry about.
Posted: January 27, 2025It is pretty safe... but just like anyother place, it's better to precautious and stay out of fishy areas... I would recommend exploring the city during the day time rather than at night... Be wise in choosing where you stay.
Posted: December 25, 2024Overall pretty safe during daytime. Nighttime safety depends on the location. Places like Race course, RS Puram are quite safe even during nights. But outskirts and areas close to Hills maybe a little unsafe
Posted: July 7, 2024I recently went to coimbatore for a wedding, the stay and the food was all accommodated by the Family. I personally would have liked to find a hotel or resort by myself. But the place that I stayed in was absolutely bad and I felt unsafe because of hygiene reasons only. The food at the wedding was amazing. Not a big fan of the weather though. 35°C at 7:30 in the morning. P.S make up is definitely gonna melt if you go heavy on it.
