Szekesfehervar is a small city near Budapest (only 40 min by train). I have been living here for 28 years now and I have never experienced nor heard about people being robbed, mugged, physically assaulted or anything else. Overall I would say it’s a very safe city and I wouldn’t be worried to walk home by myself in the middle of the night with my headphones on :)
