Very safe overall, would recommend staying to anyone, though not many things to do (limited options). Iβd go back anytime. Only time itβs kinda dangerous is during carnival with thousands of tourists from all over the country. Overall very safe though.
Posted: June 25, 2024Patras is a very safe environment to leave or to join for vacations. The centre of city is easily accessible by cars or buses from wherever in the city you re staying. In addition, there are plenty of beaches to explore and many other touristic regions close to Patras. If you are considering to visit the city you should think about coming at the Carnival session (it s the Greece's famous carnival)

Patras is a student town, so you'll see young people hanging out everywhere, even when walking a bit out of the center. In Greece we stay up late so there always will be people to help in case somthing happens
