There is ofc some worries you always will have. But in my 19 years in Denmark I have never experienced something really bad. I have always protected myself with always walking with friends or talking with a friend in the phone while going home alone.
Posted: July 30, 2025Hornslet is a relatively small town with around 6 thousand people. I am out alone after dark often and feel completely safe. As a young woman my parents are not worried about me walking home alone at night, which to me says a lot about the general safety in Hornslet
Posted: July 28, 2025I find Copenhagen very safe. I’m not worried about the safety. I prefer to walk around with other people but it wouldn’t be unsafe to walk around in the afternoon alone. I would recommend visiting Copenhagen and I wouldn’t worry about the safety, if it was me.

Very safe and easy to go around on your own. I walk home alone at night and take public transport. I wear headphones everywhere without being scared. I bike by my self all the time to and walk and bike home from bars with no issue

Aarhus is very safe. Denmark is known to be one of the safest contries in the world. In Aarhus it is normal that you leave your stuff unattended when you go to the toilet and it will be very out of the ordinary if something happened or someone took your stuff.

Denmark is pretty safe so I often walk home alone in the city. But of course be aware of your surroundings and don’t go into places like parks or darks alley. It depends with city you are in but I will say Aarhus is safe but of course there have been some situations but very few
