I would say it's quite safe if you use your common sense. Seldom I hear anything happening in the city except for robbery in people's home, when nobody is there. I always feel safe when walking around, even when it's dark and I'm drunk.

As Denmark is known for, it is very safe. There’s not a lot of crime, and people tend to themselves. Odense being a midsize city, it is more safe than the capital, Copenhagen i would say That being said, i do occasionally experience catcalling. And living here, it’s a possibility that something could happen to you, but it doesn’t seem like it would happen to a stranger on the street. I walk alone in the night a lot. It can ofc be uncomfortable or scary at times, but a lot better than the rest of the world

Snogebaek is a place where a lot of elderly people live. In the summer there will be a lot of tourists but it’s a very friendly town. You just speak to people in the grocery store and end up having a small conversation.

It is very safe in Valby. I live by myself in an apartment, and i’ve never experienced anything negative. I walk my dog every night alone, and there is nothing to be afraid of. People are very nice here
Posted: March 3, 2025Denmark is a very safe country. As long as you can take care of yourself, you’re fine. Do your research about specific areas, as there are some places I wouldn’t be by myself after dark. Public places and transport are very safe.

Overall, Aalborg is a very safe city. As long as you’re aware of your surroundings, and take care of yourself, you’re fine. There are some areas that I wouldn’t walk in by myself after dark though. Public transport is very safe.

As far as cities go, Copenhagen is one of the safest and best solo travel destinations for women. Specifically speaking, the city has a very low crime rate, and digital security is a priority in the city. It is a walkable city safe to explore alone, even at night. I have never experienced anything in my 15 years of living in the city.
Posted: February 24, 2025Denmark is safe. People can be busy and reserved but majority of the people are kind and very welcoming. Denmark is one one of the expensive countries in Europe but has a lot to offer. The natur, architecture, food is great.

Copenhagen is a safe city. Take your precautions about when walking alone at night as you would elsewhere. Do your research about the different areas and transport. That would be my recommendation to be safe.
Posted: February 14, 2025Copenhagen is generally a very safe city, to visit and live in. The crime rates are low, and the atmosphere is not hostile and the culture is inclusive in terms of race, gender and sexuality. The streets are well lit and the public transport runs throughout the night.

I love Copenhagen! And me and my friends had the best time! We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe I would recommend reffen, the food and the vibe are just amazing! And I would also recommend to just to walk everywhere or take the subway.
Posted: March 3, 2025Copenhagen is a beautiful and very safe city. I recommend seeing as much as possible and trying the cinnamon rolls and kardamomo rolls. I stayed in a hostel with private bathrooms and a high-up view of Copenhagen. We got around on foot to see as much as possible and explore the city's hidden corners.

I’m a big family person who loves animals. I live in a farm where I grew up with my parents and my tree sisters. I love travelling and exploring new places and cultures. I don’t smoke or do drugs.

Hello, My name is Malou-Cheanne and I'm a 28 year old woman from Denmark. I love to travel and Explore the world but as I often don't have anyone to go with, I end up solo travelling. So far I have only been to places I know but I want to push my boundaries and Explore more places. I would also love to meet other travellers around the world, share experiences and help making solo travelling safer.
