Often more women walk alone at night than guys, but do still remember to look around when walking at night. Stay away from big groups and dark alley ways, since people who want to be left alone occupy these spaces. Women are usually not bothered if they stay to themselves and follow basic safety rules. The city center is especially safe in the weekends. Public transport is good and safe.

I would say that Denmark generally is a very safe country. I don’t normally think about being assaulted in the night or daytime in any of Denmarks towns. Aalborg is a bit more provincial, but still feels very safe 😊
Posted: July 18, 2025It is quite safe. You can easily walk home alone at night when in centrum of Aalborg. I feel very safe as a woman. Something big like rape or murder maybe happends to women once every 8-10 years, so very safe

I’m a active person, who cares a lot about sustainability and the environment. I’m studying Geography so I hopefully will learn to make the world a better place for both nature, animals and humans! I love hanging out with my friends and family and traveling as much as the free time and wallet allows ☀️
